This step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the process of manually securing your Firefox bookmarks and history, as well as locating your core profile folder for a complete backup. Method 1: Export Bookmarks to an HTML File
Exporting your bookmarks to an HTML file is the most flexible backup method. This file can be easily imported into Firefox on another computer, or even into entirely different browsers like Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
Open the Library: Launch Firefox and press Ctrl + Shift + O (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + O (Mac) to open the Library window.
Access Import and Backup: Click on the Import and Backup button located at the top toolbar of the Library window.
Export Bookmarks: Select Export Bookmarks to HTML… from the drop-down menu.
